He has more than 35 years of experience in his field.

A new chapter
In 2003, Jim was shocked to learn he had been diagnosed with ALS, a terminal illness also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Most people inflicted with ALS live only 1-2 years after diagnosis.
Not long after learning of his illness, Jim made a decision about what he really believed and how he wanted to live out the rest of his life. That decision has changed his life and influenced thousands of people. Through the James M. Harrell Foundation, it will continue to bring inspiration to many others.
